What is GHS?
Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) is developed for chemical hazard classification and hazard communication through GHS labels etc.
The purpose of GHS is to make awareness to humans and environment against hazardous chemicals.
Before this implementation begins, there are misgivings about industrial accidents such as explosions, toxicity, etc. happening in every corner of the world, due to in appropriate handling methods and lack of awareness of certain hazardous nature when handling chemical substances.
