The BHT-8000 Series is a new generation of
terminals. It is equipped with an advanced
scanning system and has sophisticated reading
capability even on wide, high-density, low-PCS
labels. The large LCD with advanced layout
function enables users to configure the display
to their preference. With trigger switches on
both sides and large magic keys, it can be
carried in many ways. While the body is
compact, the key pitch is a wide 13.7mm,
enabling users to improve input speed.

The BHT-7000 Series employs an advanced
CCD scanning system which enables fasttouch
and long-range scanning of high-density
barcodes. It also features vibrator function
(BHT-7064 & 7164) as reading confirmation in
addition to LED and beeper functions. The
convenient Remote Wake-Up function enables
the scanner to be placed on the IrDA
communications cradle CU-7001 to be
operated remotely from the host computer.
Most advanced of all, with the integrated IrDAcompliant
communications device, the BHT-
7000 directly transfers data and programs
to/from other IrDA-compliant equipment (i.e.
PC) at a speed of up to 115.2 kbps.
