After about 1 year of preparation, BSS attains both the ISO Quality and Environmental Management System certification.
This means that the company has a well-managed system going on and is always planning on value-adding their products and services. At the same time, the company's commitment to the environment also means that all operations, especially production are under tight control that no harmful chemical is released through the air, water and land.
"We have long wanted to pen-down all our departments' work procedures so that our work flow can be as smooth as possible. With the ISO certification, we not only can achieve our target, we set objectives every year and this has greatly improved our efficiency. What's most important is that the project involved the whole company and we have noticed that staff's commitment level is also heightened." said Mr Lim Yee, Director & GM of BSS, who doubled up as the company's Management Representative for the ISO Certification.
