Barcode SATO Thailand (BST), a subsidiary of Bar Code SATO Electronics, Singapore, shifted to a new office premises in Jan 2004, to cater to the expansion of SATO in Thailand. Moving from “Rama 9 Road” (110sqm) to “Theparak Road”(1000sqm) provides BST with ample space for the introduction of the Seal/Label Production Floor. This move was essential to cope with the high label demands in Thailand. Previously, BST relied on external label source whenever orders are placed, now, BST could reduce this reliance on external suppliers and to have greater control over the quality of labels produced.
The next step for BST is to look into the area of implementing real time reporting software on the production floor, so that real time information on the printing and rewinding volume could be available at the point of information request.
