"Recently, we have been seeing an increasing number of SATO printers being relocated by customers from original installation country to a different country. On the other hand, all existing warranties issued by the SATO Group Members are in local terms with significant differences on key terms and conditions, creating inconsistent handlings and confusion" Ms Choh, Manager of Customer Service of SATO Singapore commented.
"The main Objective of this SATO Global Warranty is to improve customer satisfaction towards SATO by offering standard levels of warranties regardless of the usage location (with the exception of Japan). At the same time, we also want to reinforce the SATO warranty terms & conditions offered to all SATO Barcode printer users worldwide and to unify and minimize the differences in spare parts replacement warranty terms. Lastly, with the introduction of the SATO Global Warranty, we aim to guaranty and offer the stipulated warranty period wherever the SATO printers are being brought to and used (except Japan)" she added.
