From Major METRO RFID Solutions to Minimal Mobile Printing - SATO's Labelexpo Booth Bursts with Product Novelties

Brussels - August 31, 2005

SATO, the world's leading manufacturer of label and barcode printers and a specialist in data collection systems (DCS) and radio frequency identification (RFID), will be showcasing a whole range of product innovations at this year's Labelexpo Europe in Brussels, from the 21st to the 24th of September 2005.

Arranged according to “Solution Islands” - Healthcare, Industry, Logistics, Retail, plus a special spotlight on RFID – SATO's latest product developments will be far from being static demonstrations, but fully integrated into working industry applications.

Laurent Lassus, Marketing Manager of SATO Europe, commented on this year's show presence: “SATO, in its role as a leading industry supplier, considers it our duty to deliver to the visitors what they have come for in the first place: the very latest labelling trends and product novelties. This year, we are particularly excited about our participation, as we are not only demonstrating our famed FlagTagSolutions™ , but also launching two new products at the same time.”

For the first time at Labelexpo, SATO will demonstrate their UHF pallet labelling systems - FlagTagSolutions™ – as put into practice at leading METRO suppliers today. This hands-on demonstration on the SATO stand is complemented by a seminar session on SATO's experience from METRO's RFID roll-out on Friday, 23rd of September.

Combining maximum printing speed with minimum power consumption, SATO's new MBi Series is set to surpass existing standards in mobile printing. The two new models, MB200/201i, are part of the “Compact” family comprising light, mobile printers that are particularly easy to operate.

Following in their footsteps as the inventor of the world's first OEM print engine and one of the first hand labellers, SATO is also proud to present a new print engine as part of their renowned S Series, as well as the latest members of their handlabeller family: KENDO (1-liner) and JUDO (2-liner).

All these product novelties and much more can be discovered on the SATO stand (Hall 7, stand N110) during Labelexpo Europe 2005 - a chance not to be missed for getting hands-on experience and the best expertise from the market leader today!
