Versatility and Performance in a small package

The CG2 Series is affordable compact desktop label printer. It is the perfect solution for printing both direct thermal and thermal transfer labels. The economical compact 2" wide printer comes with a 32-bit RISC CPU, 4MB Flash Memory, and offers a print resolution of 203dpi or 305dpi that enables users to print small information and images such as 2D barcodes or even a graphic photo on wristbands.

SATO Visitors Tracking System

SATO, the market leader in barcode and traceability technology, has introduced a 'Visitors Tracking System' that tracks the visitor's health statistics (e.g. temperature) and personal particulars for effective traceability and immediate response time. SATO is happy to be able to lend strong support to promote health safety for all.

How Does the System Work?

1. Input visitor's name
2. Input company name
3. Scan and input NRIC number
4. Input phone number
5. Input temperature
6. Save to file and print printer label

There are two ways to use this system – Mobile or Online:

SATO Joins SAP^®

According to Modern Materials Handling magazine, SAP^® is easily the world's top multi-billion dollar supply chain management software provider and its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions are widely used in many industries today.

Printing from an SAP system can be a critical business activity for SAP customers; and with thousands of printer models available and manufacturers continually adding new models, it is important that these customers can print documents easily through these printers via the SAP systems. With this objective in mind, SAP launched the SAP Printer Vendor program in April 2008, which SATO is now a Silver Partner.

Customers using SAP applications together with SATO's printing solutions will be able to make full use of barcode and RFID printing functionality while continuing to work in their familiar Smart Forms environment to meet all their form and label design needs, without the need for additional integration software or middleware.

SATO customers will be able to rely on a high-quality label printing solution that is optimized for use with, and easy to connect to SAP systems.

The SATO solution, using the Smart Forms interface method, offers non-technical users the capability to design document and labels in an easy-to-use graphical design environment: Smart Forms. It does not require ABAPT programming skills or additional software to make it all work. Users that rely on label printing from an SAP system who need barcode printing functionality will be able to enjoy high-quality thermal label printing from within SAP applications.
